I know, I know, a short read of my own first novel should tell me that it happened a long long time ago, perhaps I had just forgotten... I’ve been dipping my toe back in the dating lake, and people, that water is icy cold. In fact, as far as I can see, the only generally accepted code for behaviour within the gay “community” these days is that our actions should be designed to cause each other as much harm as is humanly possible. And how can a “community” be based on that?
